Church Marketing Podcast: Sneak Peek With Gerry True, Part 2

April 17, 2014 by

Anyone trying to put a bow on Easter planning and execution? As promised, we have the second half of our conversation with Gerry True (check out the first half of the conversation with Gerry). This is our final sneak peek episode before our full length episodes launch next month.

In this quick episode we talk how to cater a message to your audience, balancing service times and attendance, knowing your audience and an item of recommended reading.

We also offer an Easter prayer for church communicators. If you’re tight on time as you prepare for Easter, skip ahead to this prayer (10:14) and let it encourage you as you get back to work.

Can you do an episode geared toward Facebook promoted posts for church pages? With reach declining, it’s something we’re considering. This is a complicated and delicate issue. Boost vs Power Editor, audience targeting, and how much we want to pay to be seen by those that may not yet be believers (friends of fans of the page). This is more complex than just ads for most business needs on pages.

    Courtney, great topic!

The second half of my conversation with Josh Burns hits on this. Let me go back and listen to it and see if we made as much sense as we thought we did :-) maybe I can release this next week in a FINAL:FINAL sneak peek. Thx for commenting. Really helps a lot!
