Introducing #cmschat

Introducing #cmschat

January 29, 2015 by

Have you ever wondered how to connect with other church communications peers outside of a seminar or conference?

Well now you can! Church Marketing Sucks is starting a Twitter chat especially for you and your peers to chat about all things church communications. Whether you are into graphic or web design, marketing/communications, photography, illustration, videography, writing, PR or more, we have some great Twitter chats lined up that will help you and encourage you in your creative journey.

The Twitter chat will be hosted by yours truly, Steve Fogg, along with special guest hosts.

The chat will be every Thursday night at 9 p.m. EST, starting Feb. 12. We’ll use the hashtag #cmschat and our first topic will cover planning for Easter.

After every chat a transcript will be posted so you can find those insights or catch up on a chat you missed.

If you are involved in social media for churches there is already a great Twitter chat going with #chsocm hosted by Meredith Gould which we encourage you to check out.

Your Turn

  1. What would you like us to chat about? This is really important. We want this Twitter chat to be relevant to you so tell us what you want to know! Comment below.
  2. Please share the news with your community on Twitter:

I am interested in how churches are responding to the new open carry gun laws. Posting signs? Handing out cards? Doing nothing?
