Kevin D. Hendricks - Editorial Director
After attending the same fundamentalist Baptist church for 18 years, Kevin branched out in college, trying an Evangelical Covenant church, a Lutheran Native American church, and finally settling on a charismatic Episcopalian church. Kevin has seen it all, from ugly near church-splits to being virtually invisible in church despite teaching kindergarten Sunday school. He's also seen his dad come back to church after a lifetime of sleeping in on Sundays. As much as he hates it, he loves the church.
Kevin's done about everything in the church, from puppet ministry to breaking lights in the sanctuary with a wayward yo-yo to reprising his role as Jesus in multiple youth group dramas (a part he earned solely on the merits of his facial hair). Currently, Kevin and his wife, Abby, are in a small group and volunteer for all sorts of stuff.
After working with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and their Internet presence, Kevin founded his own writing and editing company in 2004, Monkey Outta Nowhere. Kevin specializes in articles, editing content and big picture communication strategy. He's also into public art, photography, Billy Graham, Twitter and blogging--which he's done since 1998 before the word came into common usage.
Kevin and his wife, Abby, live in St. Paul, Minn., with their two kids and two dogs.
