Creative Missions Is Coming to Boise

Creative Missions Is Coming to Boise

January 13, 2015 by

We’re thrilled to announce the annual mission trip for church communicators, Creative Missions, is coming May 16-22 to Boise, Idaho.

We Help Churches Spread the Gospel

Creative Missions pairs media professionals with under-resourced churches, creating sustainable solutions that engage their communities with the gospel.

We function similarly to other mission trips, but instead of constructions projects, outreach events and VBS, our mission teams of 30 donate a week of
creative effort to 15 to 20 churches. During that time, teams will produce videos, websites, social media strategies, logos, print projects, signage, tech setups and much more.

Creative Missions is about clearing hurdles and leaving churches with a foundation for success; the results are evident in the more than 60 ministries we’ve served since 2011.

We’re Ready to Serve “Tree City” Pastors

Boise is a thriving creative community in the Northwest that’s primed for a movement of the gospel. We’ll lend a helping hand to a number of church plants and intentional pastors who are eager to reach their city through creative influence and community outreach.

A growing town with a lively outdoors culture, Boise offers a fantastic quality-of-life with a healthy economy and lots of great ways to stay busy. It’s also a “post-Christian” city that’s open to a plurality of spiritual beliefs, but largely unchurched. Our goal in 2015 is to help pastors create and multiply missional communities to engage a culture where some find little value in a traditional “church service.”

God is at work in Idaho.

Help Us Help Churches

Ready to put your creative skills to work on a missions trip? We’ll be putting together a team of 30 people to help the churches of Boise. Applications will be available next week at CreativeMissions.to.

This effort happens every year on a shoestring budget. All missionaries donate their own time, resources and pay their own way. We rely on donations to keep the costs down for missionaries and help increase the impact for local churches. Please consider making a tax deductible donation.

Does Your Church Need Creative Missions?

Creative Missions happens only once a year, but you can still have a Creative Missions experience for your church. We wrote the book on it. Dangerous: A Go-to Guide for Church CommunicationDangerous: A Go-to Guide for Church Communication was written by Creative Missions participants and shares basic marketing insights on topics including strategy, web sites, social media, writing and more. Dangerous is designed to give your church the same kind of help a visit from Creative Missions offers.
