Church Marketing Lab: New Sites, Sports Centers and More

November 16, 2007 by

It’s the most wonderful time of year! The weather is getting colder, Wal-Mart has Christmas candles and Christmas music is starting in on the radio. All that to say, I’m desperately fighting the urge to make every Church Marketing Lab update from here on out a Christmas edition. Here’s a little of the non-Christmas action we’re seeing in the Church Marketing Lab this week:

Valley Church of Idaho is getting a new web site ready to go.

User “seth.swindall” is readying some new youth banners.

The North Augusta Community Center isn’t skipping Thanksgiving for Christmas. Here’s an announcement for Thanksgiving dinner.

Christian Life Center just prepared a new shirt for members of their recreation ministry.

You know what to do from here. Head to the Church Marketing Lab and contribute to the conversation.

The layout is good, clean and simple but there are no pictures of people! Having images of scenery is not a good idea – a tad old fashioned and not at all related to the prime reason folks go to church – a desire to meet new friends. Change the nature shots to happy people and the whole tone of the site will be lifted up.
