Help Name Marriage Classes

May 15, 2007 by

This week in the Church Marketing Lab Discussion, timschraeder asked for some help. He’s looking to name pre-marriage and post-marriage classes, and he wants to avoid the usual cliche names. We wanted to bring the call for help to all of our loyal CMS readers to see if anyone had any ideas. Ever been daydreaming and come across the perfect name? Check out his post for details and help timschrader out!

pre-marriage: fusion–genesis 2:24, “and they will become one flesh.”
post-marriage: evermore–matt. 19:6, “therefore what god has joined together, let man not seperate.”

I’ve always thought the term “marriage retreat” was funny.
I mean, when confronted with my wife I surrendered in the face of superior firepower a long time ago!
So “Marriage Surrender” always seemed like a cool title…both as a humorous angle and a spiritual truth.

We had a class for newly marrieds in our church called The Cleavers. It’s biblical, and tv. :-)
