CMS T-Shirts FAQs

Church Marketing Sucks T-shirts: Frustrate. Educate. Motivate. When we announced the new CMS T-shirts late last week, the e-mails started coming in about questions you never really know people have until they ask. So below are the frequently asked questions, and you can also join the discussion at the Church Marketing Lab about the shirts.

Are the shirts sweatshop free?
Yes. The material is made in Honduras and the shirts are produced here in the United States (California).

Why are the shirts so expensive?
We’re producing a limited run so the cost per shirt is higher than if we were printing a big run. The idea is also to help support a good cause (the Center for Church Communication). You can always make a tax-deductible donation if you prefer to help the cause without buying a shirt.

Can I order two different shirts for $32?
Yes, just send us an e-mail with your order and we’ll generate a PayPal invoice to be e-mailed back to you. This applies to any orders that don’t fit the cheap PayPal store setup we’re using. Work with us people, we’re just getting started!

Can you ship international?
Yes, as long as it can go via USPS from Los Angeles, California. This applies to most of the world. We’ve already received orders from Sweden, New Zealand and a few others. The price for international shipping varies, but it usually adds another $15-$20 minimum to the shipping.

Do you/will you have women’s shirts?
We do not have a specific cut for a woman’s shirt. We do have a size small which should work fine for most. Unless women out there unite and create the demand, there just isn’t enough to justify a separate run.

How many shirts do I need to order to get a bigger discount?
Discounts apply immediately if you order two or more shirts. The next volume discount is at 10 shirts. Order 10 or more shirts (any size and style) and the price drops to $14 per shirt. You could outfit your entire congregation!

Will you gift wrap it for my pastor?
No. But thanks for asking!
