How Many Church Visitors Poll Results

October 3, 2005 by

Church visitors pollLast week’s poll asked how many first-time visitors come to your church each week. 42% of churches have 1-5 visitors each week. 30% have more than 10 each week. But it becomes clear that these numbers don’t mean a lot without knowing how large the churches are. 25 visitors is amazing for a church of 50 people. 25 visitors isn’t so amazing for a church of 15,000.

What is amazing is almost 10% of churches have no visitors each week. That’s a bad sign for those churches.

Check out this week’s poll on the usefulness of church web sites. With 48 votes so far we have matching responses on either end of the spectrum with 12% of people saying they use their church’s web site every day and 12% of people asking “What church web site?”
