Certification Lab Date Change & Resources

Certification Lab Date Change & Resources

July 30, 2015 by

Are you ready to go to the next level? Certification Lab is an opportunity to get better as a church communicator. We’ve got dates coming up this fall and next year.

Date Change

We had to change dates for this fall’s Certification Lab in Jacksonville, Fla. It will now be Sept. 13-15. Check your calendars and hopefully this date change means you’ll be able to attend.

Here are all the current dates for upcoming Certification Lab events:

  • Jacksonville: Sept. 13-15 2015
  • Atlanta (Advanced): Jan. 17-19, 2016
  • San Antonio: April 17-19, 2016
  • Nashville: July 17-19, 2016

Resources

There are two factors that work hand-in-hand to make Certification Lab an effective event:

  1. It’s a small group experience, limited to 50 participants, so you can get your individual questions answered. It’s not another giant conference where you’re lost in the crowd.
  2. Our experienced instructors really know their stuff. They’ve been in the trenches for years, facing the same problems you face. They’ve wrestled with bulletins and recruiting volunteers, creating a scheduling system and working with pastors.

The end result is that you get all that experience applied to your situation. You can talk directly with the instructors and get help for your unique situation.

We try to bottle our instructors’ experience and share it here on the blog, but nothing is quite like attending Certification Lab. But for a taste, you can check out this collection of Certification Lab resources from our instructors. Even if you can’t make it to Certification Lab, there’s a lot of wisdom here:

  • “The truth is constraints can actually propel us to some of our best work”
  • “Communities are growing while almost 80 percent of churches are in stagnation or decline.”
  • “If you empower other people to come up with ideas, all the ideas become stronger”
  • “Ignoring a boundary undermines the effort other ministries put into planning ahead.”

So check out the Certification Lab resources. Then go register for Certification Lab.
