Outspoken Releasing Sept. 15 at STORY

August 18, 2011 by

Over a year in the making, we are thrilled to announce the official release date of our book Outspoken: Conversations on Church Communication. In partnership with the STORY Conference in Chicago, Outspoken will release on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011.

We couldn’t think of a more perfect place to release the book than at STORY, a conference that is dedicated to helping the church creatively express and tell its story: the message of the gospel. If you haven’t made plans to attend STORY yet, save $50 off registration using the discount code “OUTSPOKEN”. Register today!

And no momentous occasion would be complete without a party, so if you’re attending STORY or near Chicago, we’ll be hosting an official release party on Thursday, Sept. 15. Register today (it’s free) so we know you’re coming.

Outspoken is a collaborative book bringing together over 60 different contributors each offering their unique ideas and insight on a broad range of topics related to church communication including: leadership, design, words and stories, technology, web, social media, creativity, personal growth and outreach.

Proceeds from the sale of Outspoken will benefit the Center for Church Communication, the nonprofit parent organization of Church Marketing Sucks. We’ll also be giving a portion of the proceeds to Creative Missions, which sends creatives on a missions trip to help churches communicate better.
