Church Marketing Lab: From Logos to Postcards

March 7, 2008 by

Last week, we took a week off from letting you know what was going on in the Church Marketing Lab. But now, we’re back in the full swing of things, and here’s a taste of what we’ve seen in the past couple of weeks:

Generations
This is a series concept for “Generations.”

Cafe Church Logo
Cafe Church is trying to work on a unique logo for promotion.

Easter Postcard - Back
Check out this postcard concept for Twelve Oaks Community Church.

Finally, here’s the concept for a Be.08 summer camp shirt.

Now head over and help out, or even check out a Local Lab.

  • I thought the post cards were great. Some of them sounded a bit too preachy though. There was one that went, “Can you have Christianity without the resurrection?” That was okay. But “can you have forgiveness for your sins without the cross?” sounds a bit too intimidating. And the art, although fantastic, only adds to that dark scary feeling.

Please clean up your language and do a study on your popular slang lingo (in the title) that references oral sex. I know what the current popular culture wants to tell you it means but as a Christian, you DO have a higher calling and should search out the root and history of slang words you so carelessly use. Your sight is an embarrasment to the Christian culture. I challenge you, seek mature godly counsel if you doubt me. I pray the Holy Spirit will give you wisdom and use you mightily in exalting Christ.
