We’ve changed the comment system so TypeKey authentication is no longer required. We hope this will generate more conversation without unleashing the floodgates of spam.

Older comments will be moderated, though TypeKey authentication will let you bypass that.

    If you are looking to avoid spam problems, maybe you should look into a module for your blog software that does “Captcha” type authentication – requiring users to decypher a crazy image to prove that they are human. It ought to cut out most spam and allow easy posting. Dean Peters is doing it over at HYCW.
