Brian White – Designer
Brian spent the first 18 years of his life in the same Free Methodist church, often clashing with the conservative police with his Tony Hawk-inspired shaved head, pirate earrings and proclivity for jumping cars in the parking lot on his skateboard. He's been heavily involved in church, including missions trips across the world, puppet ministry (a punk puppet named Spike), a skating ministry in Wheaton, Ill., youth group support and more. He joined a Navigators college group while attending Kansas University in Lawrence, Kans., and branched out to explore different churches, including United Methodist, non-denominational charismatic and evangelical Presbyterian before finally settling on an evangelical Episcopal church.
Currently Brian is the activity director for the 2- and 3-year old Sunday School class along with his wife, Jenni. Flannel boards save the day!
In 1997 Brian started two clothing companies, Alli Army and Cheeseball, the latter of which launched the infamous clothing line poop on satan. In 1998 he started working as a freelancer in the Kansas City area and launched Solo Multimedia, Inc. Today Brian continues to do graphic design, collaborating with multiple advertising agencies, Christian businesses, and corporations.
Brian has been married since 1999 to the love of his life, Jenni, his best friend and business bookkeeper. They have a daughter named Ellie, who was born in 2002 and reads 12-15 books a day. They live outside of Lawrence, Kans. in a forest full of deer, bobcats and you name it.
