Church Marketing Lab: Copyright Time
(Filed under: Peer Review)In the Church Marketing Lab, we've got a call for copyright questions. Lots of people don't really have a great understanding of copyright, from designers to pastors to volunteers, and we have the opportunity to ask some questions to copyright experts. So if you've ever had something on your mind regarding copyright, right and wrong and where to draw the line, get it in the thread over there or e-mail us. But as usual, we've seen some great work this week that hasn't been copied. Here is just a tiny taste of what we've seen this week:

Is this really what you consider "great work"? Is this the best your group has to offer? I guess Church Marketing really does suck eh?

@Chris We see work come through the Church Marketing Lab from people who are truly elite designers, and we see work from individuals who work for churches without the budget for phenomenal design. What you see is a sampling of work that reflects the beliefs of the Church Marketing Lab--that no matter if the design is already very good or needs a lot of work, we're going to help one another out on it. And looking at their work and comments, it's something we're very proud of, regardless of whether you'd like to use the guise of the Internet to lambast folks you don't have an association with.

Understandable. I've checked out your group, and it's cool. I just think if you make a statement like...
"But as usual, we've seen some great work this week that hasn't been copied. Here is just a tiny taste of what we've seen this week:"
I would back it up with great work. Otherwise, maybe say..."here are some pieces from our group this week" :)
