Drive-In Church
We've seen drive-thru church before, but a drive-in church, well that's something new. It's the Daytona Beach Drive-In Christian Church in Daytona Beach Shores, Fla. Apparently it goes back to 1953. So it's not new.

I saw this church near the beach one year while in Florida some years back. Right across from the beach I thought it was an interesting approach. It wasn’t Sunday when we were there so we drove by the entrance shack. Apparently you pick up your ... [Read More]

Robert Schuller's ministry started out as a drive in church before he built the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove CA.

Yep, I've been to the Daytona Drive-In church. What can I say? It's like a drive-in. My family owns a condo on the beach a few blocks away from it. It's the only drive-in church I've ever been to. And, what a good place to have it too..with bike week and all. :)

The old Drive-In Theater in my hometown on Ohio used to do that on Sunday morning for people, especially for tourists.

every year when we visit with my grandparents over christmas in florida, this is our familys' church of choice...it's really not too bad...all things considered...very tourist oriented.

Whoa... my family used to attend that church every year when we were in DBC for vacation. It was great.. you could roll in your pajamas, and just tune the radio to a certain channel and pick up the music (which was horrible traditionally), and the sermon.
Another cool thing.... guys in golf carts drive car to car to collect the offering :)

I'm a guest pianist tomorrow at a drive-in church here in southern California. The main congo is in the building, but the big window opens up and they actually acknowledge those tuning in on their radios.
