Wearing Hats in Church

Wearing hats in church pollLast week's poll asked whether or not it's acceptable to wear hats during a church service, referring to an earlier post about a church upheaval caused by hats. 41% didn't care what people wore as long as they came to church, and 16% gave a flat 'no'—hat-wearing is disrespectful. 35% said it depends on the culture, and, sadly, only 7% seemed to share my distaste for the trucker hat.

Whether you've got a trucker hat, cowboy hat or no hat, mosey on over to this week's poll, which asks if your church does search engine advertising.

What's a trucker hat?

You don't have an answer in the poll for me. I embrace technology. I've used keyword advertising off and on for several years for church websites. In my experience, plain old optimizing for organic searches is a much better use of my resources.

Well, Fritz, you answered the question for yourself. You've tried keyword advertising but you prefer something else. Sounds like "Yes, but it's not the greatest" would work for you.

Like we've said before, the survey's aren't scientific. We try to have some fun with them.

And trucker hats are those big baseball caps with the mesh back that somehow became fashionable with the hipsters a few years ago.

I want to know if it's acceptible to wear slack with a hat---or must you wear a skirt?
