Free $25 Google AdWords Credit
(Filed under: Advertising)With all the recent talk about search engine marketing, Derek at Woodland Baptist Church in Bradenton, Fla. pointed out that you can get a $25 credit for Google AdWords if you list your church in Google Local.
Once you sign up they mail a postcard to verify your address and the postcard includes a pin number for the $25 credit. It's more like $20 of advertising money since there's a $5 set-up fee, but $20 can buy many clicks. It's a great way to test out AdWords and see if it works for your church. And it's free.

Great! We had been meaning to figure out how to update our Google Local listing, and we had wanted to try some keyword advertising in AdWords. Perfect!

Just so you know. I found out when I tried to sign-up...
This only works if your mailing address is the same and the location you meet.
For those of us who meet at a theater or school we don't qualify.

But I thought accounts older than 14 days won't be able to apply right?
