2018 CFCC Annual Report

2018 CFCC Annual Report

February 19, 2019 by

Our nonprofit parent, the Center for Church Communication, has released its 2018 annual report.

Here’s a glimpse of the report with an update from Executive Director Mark MacDonald:

A Letter From the Executive Director

This has been a tremendous year for church communication in general! Our board and team at the Center for Church Communication (CFCC) watches with amazement as this critical ministry field matures with many voices rising to help guide those, like you, who roll up their sleeves and lead ministries to connect with their audiences.

We understand the stress, the juggling, and the expectations you’re experiencing. Yet, we love to share in the stories of success as creativity, communication, and strategic process leads to changed lives through the unique power of the gospel of Jesus. You truly are courageous as you tackle this important role.

Want proof that we’re making an impact? Take a look through this document’s pages and join us as we pray for each house of worship represented, every storyteller and communicator, as well as for the communities that surround each of them. Our team does this regularly as we plan our schedules and products—so that we best meet the needs that abound.

This, being my first year, has been a year of refocus, tough questions, and adjustment—but I truly am in awe at what our small team, vast list of volunteers, and supporters have done. We’re making a difference.

Are we standing still? No. Like this world of communication, we’re changing, improving, and surfing all the channels, processes, strategies, and tools that are available. Hoping to give you a national perspective of what can be achieved through the power of your presence and effort.

So, hang on, the board of directors and myself are going to be using the momentum of Courageous Storytellers (member resources), Church Marketing Sucks (free resources that educate, disturb, and encourage), Creative Missions (generous creative missionaries helping under-resourced churches), and Spire (our exciting new creative opportunity) to propel us into 2019 and beyond. Enjoy reading the achievements from 2018 in this report, but watch out… the future is being laid and will be revealed soon.

What a crazy time to be alive!

Mark MacDonald
