Rethink Communication: Who Is This Book For?

Rethink Communication: Who Is This Book For?

January 23, 2019 by

This week we launched a new book that will help churches clarify their communication and actually connect. It’s called Rethink Communication and it’s written by church comm veteran Phil Bowdle.

In an exclusive Courageous Storytellers webinar, Phil talks about what the book is about, the most important message, and more. We’ve got a quick snippet from that webinar, where Phil explains who the book is for:

Communication isn’t somebody’s job, it’s everybody’s job. We all have a role to play.

Who’s It For?

Communication used to be somebody’s job. It was an outsourced thing where you could hand the things that need to be designed or the things to put in the bulletin, you could hand that to somebody and it was their job to communicate it. But today, I think communication isn’t somebody’s job, it’s everybody’s job. We all have a role to play.

So this book is really designed to be a bridge for the communication leader, the creative leader, the ministry leader, and the pastor. Every one of those people have a role to play in communication. Before you could just outsource that to one person, but now we really all have a vital role to play if we’re going to be able to take advantage of some of the greatest opportunities we’ve ever had in communicating the gospel.

So I think it’s for everybody. If you have a passion for the church and you have a message to communicate, this book is for you.
