<description>I recently went to St Peter&#039;s church in Kennington, S. London. I am not a believer but was enticed by a flyer promoting a talk by the Archbishop of Canterbury. My (Muslim) girlfriend came too.
When we arrived it became clear it wasn&#039;t a talk, but a church service. We felt tricked. My girlfriend walked out.
Is this a legitimate church marketing strategy? Or, were we naive for not realising it would be a service?
